Our commitment

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this website, so that it works for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification and other assistive technology.

What we have built in

• Full keyboard navigation, including the menus, search and accordions
• A visible focus indicator on every interactive element
• A skip-to-content link at the top of every page
• Text contrast checked against AA thresholds, with our brand green reserved for fills and large text rather than body copy
• Respect for the operating-system reduced-motion preference, which disables all non-essential animation
• Labelled form fields, with errors announced to assistive technology
• Content that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to small screens

Ongoing testing

We run automated accessibility checks on every change before it goes live, and test manually with a screen reader on the main page types.
